Disney Cruise Line - FAQ #1 - Where does Disney Cruise Line sail?
Disney Cruise Line -FAQ #1 Where does Disney Cruise Line sail?
Typically, Caribbean cruises have been the norm for Disney cruises. Guests can regularly book 3 and 4-night sailings to Nausau, Bahamas, and back, and 7-night sailings to either the Eastern Caribbean or Western Caribbean.
Other choices may be available too: such as the Costa Maya, south of the Riviera Maya, in Mexico, or the Mexican Riviera on the west coast of Mexico. Family cruisers also had an opportunity some years ago to do a Mediterranean cruise, and another chance may appear when new ships are built: two new ships are slated to launch in 2011 and 2012.
Check the Disney Cruise Line site for Ports of Call to see what choices are coming up.
All Caribbean cruises include a day at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay: a 1000-acre playground in the Bahamas, with mile-long white sand beach and plenty of watersports. You can also rent bikes and ride island trails.
A popular option is to combine a 3 or 4 day cruise with 3 or 4 days at Walt Disney World-- see the Disney Cruise Line site for this type of trip.
