PS3 is for meMar 12, 2010 I have been a HARDCORE XBOX gamer since launch. I remember staying up and standing in line to buy the first black box, which I still own. I always defended xbox and supported even the stupid games like 'Fight Club" trying to find someone to fight with online.
Anyway, I just purchased PS3 and I am not looking back. Games like Heavy Rain, Unchartered, Killzone and God of War and many others have made me a PS3 convert.
Free online, free wireless modem, 120 g space, Blue-Ray, quiet machine, you can actually surf the net and go to your favorite sites on your own TV......See Ya XBOX. We had a great time but PS3 is my new mistress.

Sorry Xbox. Use to purchase xbox games. Converted all to PS3Mar 11, 2010 THE SYSTEM IS CRAZY GOOD. SMALL BASE, SO IT FITS ANYWHERE. GRAPHICS ARE NUTS ON MY 1080P TV. GOT FINAL FANTASY 13 A COUPLE DAYS AGO, ALONG WITH TEKKEN 6 AND SOME OTHERS. WELL WORTH IT. SOME GAMES ARE MEANT TO BE PLAYED ON PS3 AND FINAL FANTASY IS ONE OF THEM. ONLINE GAME PLAY IS NOT BAD @ ALL. AND IT IS FREE!!!
XBOX NEEDS TO FOLLOW THE LEAD.

nothing beats the PS3Mar 11, 2010 if you want the best console ever and when I say ever is taking all generations into account this is by far the most superior console to this date.
Looks great, works greatMar 09, 2010 Does everything it should, plays games well, doesn't make much noise, plays blue ray movies just fine. Wireless works well, netflix enabled device for streaming movies from netflix. My only complaint would be that it isn't too stable when being stood upright on it's side. It hasn't tipped yet, but I would expect it wouldn't take much to fall over. If you intend to stand it up on it's side I'd suggest getting something to prop it up, like a stand or a makeshift base. Also, I thought playstation would of gotten the clue by now that we want a longer charger cable for the controllers and the ability to charge the controller while the system is off.

PS3 Slim mainboard failure after 45 daysMar 09, 2010 I got a release version of the 60GB PS3 way back when the came out. It was great -- until it died in January 2010 with the Yellow Light of Death (YLOD). Unwilling to give up the platform, I recently purchased a 120GB slim version to replace it. I had my hopes set high that the newer slim version would last much longer due the more efficient design. Unfortunately after watching a movie today it locked up and the screen filled with garbage. After that it would not boot up at all, just 45 days after purchase. A call to Playstation support determined that the main board had failed. Now I have to do a warranty exchange for a machine that was practically brand new, and I may end up receiving a refurbished model. This is very disappointing! Hope everyone else has better luck with this machine than I had. It was great when it worked, but it is a major headache when it fails -- not to mention all the money spent in games that we can't play. I would be very hesitant to purchase any versions of this machine. They are expensive, and sadly they just don't seem to last. Now I have to wait a few weeks to get my refurbished PS3.
